Das Schulpraktikum ermöglicht die ersten Einblicke in das Berufsleben.

Innerhalb des zweiwöchigen Praktikums in der Tierpflege lernen Sie die Aufgaben und die Arbeitswelt des/r staatlich anerkannten Tierpflegers/in mit Fachrichtung Zoo kennen. Sie begleiten unser Tierpfleger Team in den verschiedenen Revieren mit ihren Tieren und packen schon richtig mit an. Es ist körperliche Arbeit auf unebenem Gelände und findet zum größten Teil im Freien statt, deshalb bedarf es witterungsfester Kleidung.

Darüber hinaus haben Sie die Möglichkeit, sich selbst zu erproben und herauszufinden, ob der Beruf in der Tierpflege Ihre Berufung werden soll.

Das Mindestalter für ein Praktikum beträgt aus Sicherheitsgründen am ersten Praktikumstag 15 Jahre, da Sie hier mit Wildtieren in Berührung kommen.

Praktikumsplätze in diesem Bereich sind sehr beliebt und somit schnell vergeben. Eine Bewerbung ist ausschließlich über das Stellenportal auf unserer Website möglich. Das heisst, sich gleich bewerben, sobald man in der Schule den Termin genannt bekommt.

Qualifikationen und was Sie mitbringen sollten...

Neugierde und vorzubereiten wären Ihre vollständigen Bewerbungsunterlagen mit Anschreiben, tabellarischem Lebenslauf und eine Kopie des letzten Schulzeugnisses. Der Praktikumszeitraum sollte feststehen.

Was kommt auf Sie zu?

Der Ablauf des Praktikums ist dem normalen Tagesablauf im Opel-Zoo angeglichen. Die Arbeit beginnt um 8.00 Uhr morgens und endet für Praktikanten um 15.30 Uhr.

Das Praktikum wird nicht vergütet. Auch die Erstattung von Fahrtkosten ist nicht möglich. Praktikanten, die weiter entfernt wohnen und nicht pendeln können, müssen sich eigenständig eine Unterkunft suchen und für diese selbst aufkommen.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass wir nur von der Schule vorgeschriebene Pflichtpraktika anbieten können. Für den Girls' Day/Boys' Day können wir keine Plätze anbieten.
