You will support teaching and research across a multidisciplinary portfolio that may include creative arts, photographic and digital media, game development and PDHPE. You will prepare practical teaching spaces, materials and equipment, assist students and staff, and help maintain specialist facilities, software and technologies.

  • Providing clear technical and safety guidance to students, academic staff and professional staff.
  • Maintaining risk assessments, Safety Data Sheets, chemical inventories and standard operating procedures.
  • Completing audits, stocktakes and corrective actions accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Contributing to continuous process improvement across the Humanities, Education & Arts technical portfolio.

Please refer to the Position Description for full details.

About You

The successful candidate will bring broad technical capability, sound safety judgement and the adaptability to support multiple disciplines and practical environments. You will bring:

  • An undergraduate degree in humanities, arts or education, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training and experience.
  • Experience providing technical support in specialist humanities or arts-based facilities and environments.
  • Experience preparing practical teaching spaces such as laboratories, studios and workshops.
  • Well-developed organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, digital capability and experience working with chemicals, dangerous goods or biologically hazardous materials.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
