The posting

We are looking for a Vertical Product Manager to own Wonderful's solutions for the financial services industry: retail and commercial banks, digital banks, and insurers. This role is responsible for the strategy, roadmap and go-to-market of repeatable financial services solutions: products that solve a specific business problem for a bank or an insurer and that we can sell and deploy again and again, in every country we work in.

Our teams in the field already build valuable agents for banks and insurers. As one of the first Vertical PMs, you will turn this field experience into a catalog of solutions that sales can pitch from the first meeting, and that our deployment teams can take to production faster each time. You will work closely with country GMs, Deployment Strategists, FDEs, HQ product groups, R&D and marketing.

Financial services conversations sit at the points where a customer is most exposed and the institution is most procedural: a mortgage decision, a disputed charge, a lost card, a claim after an accident. Solutions in this vertical have to be accurate, explainable and auditable, in the local language and under the local regulator, or they do not get bought.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Drive the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Wonderful's financial services solutions, from the first solutions to a full catalog across banking and insurance.

- Identify the highest-value repeatable solutions, using what we have already built for bank and insurer customers, input from the field and market research.

- Convert repeated customer needs into productized solutions rather than one-off builds, in partnership with HQ product groups and R&D.

- Own the full solution offering for go-to-market, including demos, pricing, business case and reference deployments, so that solutions win deals in pre-sale.

- Partner with marketing and sales on positioning, sales enablement and conversations with senior banking and insurance buyers.

- Build a deep understanding of bank and insurer operations, buyer needs, regulation and competitors, and use it to shape priorities.

- Set the accuracy, explainability, audit and escalation bar that a regulated financial institution will accept, together with R&D, security and legal, so that a solution can reach production and not only pilot.

- Own the market rollout for each solution: which countries it enters and in what order, what has to change for it to work in each one, and how we grow penetration from there. A solution is judged by its total across every market, not by a single deal.

- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers and designers from discovery to production, while maintaining team health.

- Define and track the metrics that show each solution is working, and communicate progress to leadership.

- Operate independently, think strategically and communicate clearly with executive and technical audiences.

WHO YOU ARE

- 5+ years of product management, solutions or strategy experience in B2B or enterprise software.

- Experience building products for banks, insurers or other financial institutions, or working inside one.

- Experience taking a product from customer discovery to repeatable sales.

- Experience working closely with engineering, sales and customer-facing teams.

- Experience presenting to and influencing senior executives.

- AI-native PM with demonstrated ability to use AI tools to build prototypes and demos, and to redesign workflows.

ADVANTAGES

- Experience with AI agents, LLM-based products or workflow automation.

- Experience in a pre-sales, solutions or forward-deployed role.

- Knowledge of core financial services processes, such as lending and mortgages, payments, cards and disputes, claims and underwriting, or financial crime and compliance.

- Experience working across several countries or markets.

- Experience in a fast-growing startup.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
