Have experience with apartment maintenance, make-ready work, tools or installations? CG Service Pros is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician in San Antonio. Candidates without HVAC experience or EPA certification can apply for our training track.
Join a field crew working at apartment communities throughout the San Antonio area. You will help complete energy-saving upgrades, protect residents' homes and document each job using your phone. You will travel between communities rather than work as one property's onsite maintenance technician.
What you will do
• Follow your field supervisor's daily work plan and learn approved installation and maintenance procedures.
• Assist with thermostats, lighting, water-saving devices, insulation and air-sealing tasks as assigned. The mix varies by project.
• Support qualified HVAC technicians with maintenance and tune-up work within your training, credentials and supervision.
• Take clear before-and-after photos, record accurate unit numbers and complete job documentation.
• Set up materials, keep tools organized, protect resident spaces and clean up after work.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, property teams and coworkers.
• Stop and ask for help when a task is unsafe, unclear or outside your training.
Requirements
• Comfort using basic hand tools and following step-by-step instructions.
• Relevant apartment maintenance, make-ready, facilities, construction, weatherization or installation experience is helpful. HVAC experience is not required for the trainee track.
• Ability to take photos and accurately record work on a smartphone.
• Reliable attendance, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to reach assigned job sites throughout the local service area.
• Ability to perform the essential duties, including moving materials, using ladders and working in varied indoor/outdoor conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• EPA Section 608 certification is preferred, not required to apply. Any regulated work requires the applicable credentials and supervision before assignment.
• English/Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.
Benefits
• Full-time, onsite field role.
• Starting pay: $20-$22 per hour for the trainee track, based on relevant skills and experience.
• Supervised task training and a path toward HVAC maintenance responsibilities.
• EPA certification preparation and credential progression coordinated with the hiring team.
Independent task assignments depend on demonstrated safety, work quality, required credentials and supervisor sign-off. Certification does not replace hands-on training.
CG Service Pros considers applicants based on job-related qualifications. Reasonable accommodations are available during the application and interview process.
