Nation Security is seeking an experienced, proactive, and bilingual (English/Spanish) Director of Security to oversee all security operations at an elite, high-profile luxury residential condominium in the heart of Brickell, FL.

In this key leadership role, you will safeguard residents, guests, and physical assets while maintaining the highest standards of white-glove customer service, strategic risk mitigation, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and supervise a bilingual team of security officers, supervisors, and support staff. Oversee scheduling, ensure optimal staffing levels for daily coverage and special events, conduct performance evaluations, and lead ongoing training in de-escalation, emergency response, and luxury concierge-level service.
  • Operational Excellence & Client Partnership: Serve as the primary bilingual client partner, designing and executing tailored security strategies that align with the property's unique luxury profile. Conduct continuous risk assessments, analyze emerging security trends, and implement proactive mitigation strategies while maintaining an active on-site presence.
  • Compliance & Safety Management: Ensure full compliance with Florida state and local private security regulations, as well as internal company policies. Develop, refine, and oversee emergency response plans, safety protocols, and bilingual incident reporting procedures while cultivating positive relationships with local law enforcement and community stakeholders.
  • Technology, Metrics & Reporting: Leverage modern security software, hardware, and access control systems to streamline operations. Prepare and deliver detailed operational reports, incident analyses, and performance metrics to senior leadership and client stakeholders.

Requirements

Language Proficiency: Mandatory bilingual fluency in both written and verbal English and Spanish to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of private security experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience within luxury residential, hospitality, or high-profile property management is strongly preferred.

Licensing & Certifications: Active Florida Class D Security License is required. Professional security certifications (such as CPP or PSP) are a strong plus.

Core Competencies: Outstanding leadership, strategic problem-solving, negotiation, and high-end customer service abilities.

Technical Savvy: High proficiency with modern security management software, surveillance, and electronic access control technology.

Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Florida state and local laws governing private security operations.

Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays to support 24/7 operational needs.
