We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join a reputed government healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessments, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and comprehensive mental health support to patients with a range of psychological and behavioral conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments, clinical interviews, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' psychological needs.
- Provide evidence-based psychological therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other appropriate therapeutic approaches.
- Assess and manage conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and behavioral difficulties.
- Monitor treatment progress and evaluate therapeutic outcomes.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Provide psychological counseling, coping strategies, and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain confidential clinical records and adhere to professional ethics and patient safeguarding standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology, typically at Master's or Doctoral level, as appropriate for the role.
- Strong expertise in psychological assessment, case formulation, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Experience managing diverse mental health conditions across appropriate patient populations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and clinical documentation skills.
