The posting

At Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, we are looking for a driven, detail-oriented Demi Chef de Partie, who will support section management and contribute to creating exceptional culinary experiences.

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily preparation, mis-en-place, and service of a specific kitchen section.
  • Prepare fresh, seasonal ingredients according to Executive Chef recipes and quality standards.
  • Supervise Commis de Cuisine, ensuring correct food handling, organization, and station cleanliness.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food waste reduction and Belmond’s environmental sustainability practices.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and HACCP regulations across all workstations.

Requirements

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Commis or Demi Chef de Partie in 5-star hotels or fine-dining venues.
  • Solid foundational cooking techniques, passion for raw materials, and high motivation to learn.
  • Team player attitude, adaptability, and composure during peak service hours.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP guidelines.
  • Fluent in Italian and good working knowledge of English.
