The posting

Enterprise Electrical is seeking an experienced Director of Safety - Branch Operations to lead and strengthen safety operations across our branch locations, construction projects, service operations, and field teams.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving a proactive safety culture, strengthening operational consistency, developing safety leaders, and partnering closely with executive and operational leadership to reduce risk and support continued organizational growth.

The ideal candidate brings extensive construction safety leadership experience, a strong understanding of electrical and field operations, and the ability to lead safety programs across multiple locations and geographically dispersed teams.

What You'll Do

  • Lead regional and branch-level safety operations across multiple offices, projects, service operations, and business units.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety programs, operational risk strategies, compliance initiatives, and workforce engagement efforts.
  • Partner with executive leadership, Branch Managers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership to align safety with operational objectives.
  • Conduct and oversee jobsite audits, inspections, hazard assessments, compliance reviews, and operational evaluations.
  • Lead incident investigations involving injuries, vehicle accidents, property damage, near misses, and regulatory events, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Analyze safety metrics, leading indicators, audit findings, subcontractor performance, and operational risks to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Support workforce training, safety orientations, leadership development, emergency response planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support OSHA inspections, customer audits, compliance activities, and strategic safety initiatives.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and accountability for Safety Managers, Project Safety Representatives, Safety Coordinators, Safety Administrators, and other assigned safety personnel.
  • Support workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, and the continued development of the safety organization.

What We're Looking For

  • 10-15 years of progressive construction safety experience, preferably within electrical construction, industrial construction, service operations, or multi-site environments.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing regional safety operations, field safety personnel, or branch-level safety programs preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, hazard recognition, incident investigation, and operational risk management.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations, geographically dispersed field teams, or large-scale construction operations.
  • Strong understanding of electrical construction, field operations, industrial environments, fleet safety, and service operations.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with executive leadership, operations teams, project leadership, and field personnel.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop safety professionals and operational leaders.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent industry experience, certifications, military training, and progressive safety leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required.
  • OSHA 500 preferred.
  • CSP, ASP, CHST, or equivalent professional safety certification preferred.
  • NFPA 70E training and electrical safety knowledge strongly preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.

Work Environment & Travel

This position combines executive and office-based leadership with significant field presence. The Director of Safety will routinely visit active construction sites, branch offices, service operations, industrial facilities, and customer locations.

Frequent travel between branch locations and project sites is required. The role also requires flexibility to support early morning activities, extended workdays, occasional nights or weekends, audits, incident response, and other operational needs.

This is a full-time, exempt position.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
