Looking for Philippines-based candidates

Job Role: E-Commerce Marketing & Content Creator

Compensation range: $900 AUD - $1,400 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: The company is an Australian sports nutrition and supplements brand selling direct to consumers online, with a growing wholesale and ambassador-driven distribution channel. The business is investing in its e-commerce foundations ahead of a major brand launch, including new ambassador partnerships and a build-out of a dedicated wholesale ordering platform for retail stockiest

Role Overview: You will own how the company looks and sells online. As the in-house designer and content creator, you will produce the graphics, photography and short-form video behind every campaign, keep Shopify storefront visually current, and run the company’s social media channels so that every launch and promotion lands with one message and one look, from the website banner to the last Instagram Story.

This is a hands-on creative role with a commercial edge. You will be the person who designs the campaign in Photoshop and Illustrator, updates the homepage, schedules the Reels and checks the results the next morning. We are looking for a strong graphic designer who understands what makes people buy, and who brings ideas to grow sales rather than waiting for a brief. Experience in sports nutrition or supplements is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaigns and Sales Growth

  • Plan and deliver campaigns for product launches, promotions, seasonal offers and key dates in the sporting calendar, working to the promotional calendar set with the E-Commerce Systems & Operations Manager.
  • Bring practical ideas to grow traffic, conversion and repeat purchase: bundles, launches, giveaways, collaborations and limited-time offers.
  • Line up every campaign across Shopify, social media, email, the mobile app and wholesale promotions: same message, same look, same launch date.
  • Track results (reach, engagement, click-through, conversion and revenue by campaign) and report monthly on what is working and what to change.
  • Communicate product benefits accurately and in line with Australian advertising rules for supplements and sports foods (TGA and Food Standards Code).

Graphic Design and Content Creation

  • Design campaign assets in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator: web banners, product tiles, promotional graphics, email headers, social posts, Stories, Reels covers and ad creative.
  • Produce, shoot and edit product photography and short-form video for products, athletes and promotions.
  • Take content from concept to final delivery, including copywriting, editing and exporting files to the right size and format for each platform.
  • Bring every SKU up to a consistent visual standard across fonts, graphics, product imagery and renders, as part of the clean-up of our current B2C store.
  • Create and maintain brand guidelines, design templates and an organised, searchable asset library.

Shopify Website and Campaign Updates

  • Update Shopify storefront graphics for each campaign: homepage banners, collection pages, product images and promotional sections.
  • Work with the E-Commerce Systems & Operations Manager on landing pages, product page presentation and A/B test creative.
  • Check that every graphic displays clearly and loads quickly on desktop and mobile before launch.
  • Design trade-facing promotional graphics for the wholesale (B2B) store, such as banners shown to logged-in trade accounts and pre-season offers.
  • Spot opportunities to improve the shopping experience and conversion, and raise them with the team.

Social Media

  • Plan, create, schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, adding Pinterest, LinkedIn or X only where our customers are.
  • Own a monthly content calendar tied to launches, promotions and business goals.
  • Grow and engage the community: reply to comments and DMs, encourage user-generated content and manage collaborations with athletes, ambassadors and creators.
  • Supply creative for paid social campaigns (Meta and TikTok ads), with variations built for testing.
  • Stay across trends, formats and competitor activity in sports nutrition, and turn them into content.

Mobile App and Membership

  • Create launch and ongoing creative for the Big E shopping app and paid membership programme: app store imagery, in-app banners and member-exclusive offer graphics.
  • Write and design push notifications and campaign assets that drive app downloads, member signups and repeat orders.

Operations and Stakeholders

  • Work closely with the E-Commerce Systems & Operations Manager, sales (wholesale), warehouse and customer service so that creative is ready before each launch.
  • Brief and manage external photographers, videographers or freelancers when needed, within agreed budgets.
  • Work independently from home, keeping the team updated on progress, deadlines and results.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must have

  • 3+ years in e-commerce marketing, content creation or graphic design, with extensive hands-on campaign work.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, supported by a strong portfolio of campaign and social media work.
  • Extensive experience across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, including platform-specific formats and what performs on each.
  • Hands-on experience updating Shopify storefronts (themes, banners, collections, product images) or a comparable e-commerce platform.
  • Track record of content and campaigns that measurably grew audience, engagement or online sales.
  • Photo and short-form video skills: comfortable shooting product content and editing (Premiere Pro, CapCut or similar).
  • Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and analytics (Meta Insights, Shopify Analytics, GA4), and the ability to turn data into practical improvements.
  • Strong eye for layout, typography and brand consistency, plus sharp copywriting for captions and promotions.
  • Organized, self-managing and reliable working from home part-time, juggling several campaigns against launch dates.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the sports nutrition, supplement, fitness or health industry.
  • Understanding of Australian advertising rules for supplements and sports foods.
  • Email marketing and customer retention campaigns (e.g. Klaviyo, Shopify Email).
  • Influencer, athlete and fitness creator partnerships.
  • Motion graphics (After Effects) and quick templating in Figma or Canva.
  • Experience in a wholesale-plus-retail business, or creating content for a mobile app or membership programme.
  • A genuine interest in training, sport or fitness.

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
  • Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
