We are looking for a skilled and product-focused Frontend Engineer – Onboarding SDKs to build high-quality onboarding experiences for a technology platform serving global KYC, KYB, identity verification, and compliance use cases.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML/CSS, and API integrations, with hands-on experience building and shipping production-grade frontend products. You will work on reusable web components and onboarding flows that enable users to complete identity and business verification journeys smoothly across devices and environments.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain React-based onboarding flows and reusable frontend SDK components.
  • Build responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces across desktop and mobile web experiences.
  • Integrate frontend applications with identity verification, document capture, camera, and compliance APIs.
  • Develop reusable components and frontend patterns that can be adopted across multiple onboarding journeys.
  • Translate product and design requirements into scalable, maintainable, and production-ready frontend solutions.
  • Work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Engineering teams to deliver features end-to-end.
  • Implement robust error handling, validation, loading states, and user feedback mechanisms.
  • Write unit, integration, and automated tests to maintain frontend quality and reliability.
  • Optimise application performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and overall user experience.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend engineering standards and best practices.
  • Take ownership of frontend features from development through deployment and production support.
  • Contribute to technical decisions around frontend architecture, SDK design, component reuse, and integration patterns.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve developer experience, user experience, performance, and engineering efficiency.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on frontend development expertise.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proven experience building and shipping production-grade frontend applications.
  • Strong understanding of responsive web development, reusable component architecture, and modern frontend practices.
  • Hands-on experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and external services.
  • Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills with a focus on reliability and performance.
  • Experience with automated testing and modern frontend testing practices.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility and user-centric interface development.
  • Experience working with web SDKs, mobile SDKs, React Native, or Flutter will be an advantage.
  • Experience with camera integrations, document capture, identity verification, or similar user verification workflows will be highly valuable.
  • Familiarity with Node.js or Python and backend development concepts is a plus.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive technical deliverables from development through production.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with Product, Design, Backend, and Engineering stakeholders.
  • Passion for building simple, reliable, and high-quality user experiences for complex technical workflows.
