Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential HVAC systems while occasionally supporting commercial service projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while representing the company professionally.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC equipment, including:
- Air conditioners
- Heat pumps
- Furnaces
- Air handlers
- Indoor air quality systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups.
- Install and replace HVAC equipment and components as needed.
- Service and maintain light commercial HVAC systems.
- Explain repair recommendations and maintenance options to customers.
- Complete service reports, work orders, and documentation accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment.
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency service as required.
- Promote a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.

Requirements
Qualifications Required
- 2+ years of HVAC service experience.
- EPA Certification (Type II or Universal).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC systems independently.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawlspaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions.
Preferred
- NATE Certification.
- Experience with heat pumps, variable-speed systems, and smart thermostats.
- Commercial HVAC service experience.
- HVAC trade school or technical training.
