The MEAL Analyst (Partner & Community Impact) leads the monitoring, evaluation, and learning efforts for CFBNJ's partner and community data across multiple programs. The MEAL Analyst (Partner & Community Impact) oversees routine partner surveying, partner and community data analysis, and reporting that supports relationship management, funding strategy, and organizational learning. They manage partner data integrity across systems, develop standardized metrics and reporting tools, and provide analytical support for grant development, reporting, and compliance. This role collaborates closely with Engagement, Development, and Growing Healthy Pantries to strengthen CFBNJ's ability to demonstrate partner and community impact
What you’ll do in your role:
- Lead data-driven decision-making processes by designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of data collection systems, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Conduct data analysis to measure the effectiveness and impact of food security programs.
- Conduct research and exploratory data analysis to inform program strategies.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting metrics.
- Provide leadership and technical support to MEAL Analysts and other team members.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance program evaluation efforts and integrate MEAL best practices.
- Design and conduct training sessions on data management and evaluation best practices.
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership, grantors, and other stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, public health, evaluation, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree is highly competitive.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and data analysis roles.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and data analysis tools (e.g. R)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel functions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience leading teams and managing direct reports.
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards.
- Experience in nonprofit, food security, or related sectors is a plus.
Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $66,108-$89,440. The final rate may be influenced by factors such as the position's scope and responsibilities, work experience, training, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
