WorkNomads is on the hunt for an Operations Manager to join our WN LAB Hotel team in Sofia!

Your mission at WorkNomads:
- Run the operation: Take ownership of day-to-day operations across Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance and Facilities, workforce planning, procurement, inventory and supplier management.
- Build smarter processes: Establish clear workflows, SOPs and performance indicators. Identify bottlenecks, eliminate waste and use continuous improvement to make operations more predictable and efficient.
- Lead and develop people: Coach team leaders and operational staff, set clear expectations and build a team that takes pride in its work and delivers great hospitality.
- Protect our assets: Develop preventive maintenance plans, coordinate contractors and suppliers, and ensure our rooms, facilities and equipment remain in excellent condition.
- Own operational and commercial performance: Manage budgets, labour and food costs, inventory, purchasing, quality and productivity while balancing efficiency with guest satisfaction.
- Make every guest feel welcome: Work closely with our Guest Experience team to improve the details that matter, from cleanliness and comfort to food quality and the overall guest journey.
- Bring technology into the picture: Explore AI, automation and data-driven solutions to improve scheduling, forecasting, maintenance, reporting and everyday operational activities.
- Build a connected ecosystem: Coordinate external partners and service providers, ensuring everyone works towards the same operational and hospitality standards.
Requirements
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Proven experience in operations management, ideally in hospitality, facilities, F&B, manufacturing, logistics, high-volume retail or another process-driven environment.
- Strong people leadership skills and a genuine passion for coaching, training and developing teams.
- Experience with workforce planning, scheduling, procurement, inventory and supplier management.
- A solid understanding of budgets, operational costs, productivity and commercial performance.
- A structured, data-driven mindset and the ability to work with KPIs, operational reporting and continuous-improvement processes.
- A sharp eye for detail and the ability to identify problems, understand their root causes and prevent them from happening again.
- A hands-on mentality - you're happy to roll up your sleeves and see how things work on the ground.
- An interest in AI, automation and technology that can make operations smarter and more efficient.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to bring different teams and external partners together.
- Fluency in Bulgarian and English
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when operational needs require it.
- A passion for continuous learning & collaboration in a global setting
- A team player mentality and believe no one should be left behind regardless of background
