Requirements
The Role
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive Personal Assistant to the Founder to provide comprehensive support across both the Founder’s professional and personal commitments.
This is a high-trust role for an individual who can effectively manage a busy and complex schedule, anticipate requirements, coordinate competing priorities and ensure that the Founder remains organised and focused on the areas where they can have the greatest impact.
The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for the Founder, building strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders while handling sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
This is a varied and fast-paced role that will require someone who is commercially aware, adaptable and comfortable taking ownership. The ideal candidate will be someone who naturally looks ahead, identifies what needs to happen next and acts without always needing to be asked.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide high-level personal and professional support to the Founder, managing day-to-day priorities and commitments.
- Proactively manage and optimise the Founder’s diary, meetings, travel, appointments and events.
- Manage correspondence, communications and follow-ups, ensuring key actions and commitments are progressed.
- Prepare the Founder for meetings and key commitments, ensuring they have the relevant information in advance.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for internal teams, clients, suppliers and external stakeholders.
- Support the Founder with business projects, initiatives and ad-hoc priorities as required.
- Manage personal commitments and arrangements with complete discretion and confidentiality.
- Maintain oversight of key deadlines, priorities and actions, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Build strong working relationships across the business and with external partners, always representing the Founder professionally.
- Identify opportunities to improve organisation, efficiency and structure around the Founder’s Day-to-day activities.
- Proactively anticipate requirements, take ownership and ensure actions are followed through to completion.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, professionalism and integrity.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or in a senior administrative support role, ideally supporting a senior executive, business owner or Founder. We are looking for an individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and using their own initiative.
Experience within a financial services, fintech or professional services environment would be advantageous, although is not essential.
Most importantly, you will have excellent organisational skills, strong commercial awareness and the ability to anticipate what the Founder needs before being asked.
About you:
- Demonstrable experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or in a senior administrative support role with a track record of supporting a senior executive, business owner or Founder
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Able to work independently and use initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Proactive approach with a strong “can-do” attitude.
