About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Pipeline Pre-Commissioning to lead the safe and successful delivery of pipeline pre-commissioning projects within the oil and gas sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including planning, mobilisation, technical coordination, resource management, commercial performance and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of pipeline pre-commissioning projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget requirements are achieved.
- Oversee technical activities including pipeline cleaning, flooding, gauging, hydrotesting, dewatering, drying and nitrogen purging.
- Coordinate project personnel, specialist equipment, subcontractors and mobilisation requirements.
- Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards and EnerMech's QHSE requirements.
- Monitor project costs, progress, variations and overall commercial performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and successful project delivery.
- Provide technical and operational leadership to site teams throughout project execution.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience managing pipeline pre-commissioning projects within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of pipeline cleaning, flooding, gauging, hydrotesting, dewatering and drying operations.
- Experience delivering onshore and/or offshore pipeline projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, schedules, resources and subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of HSE requirements, permit-to-work systems and operational risk management.
- Excellent client management, leadership and communication skills.
- Engineering qualification or relevant technical background preferred.
