Job Summary
TPF Nursing Registry Inc. is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist for a temporary Interventional Radiology assignment in Brighton, NY. The technologist will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, assist radiologists during procedures, prepare and instruct patients, and produce diagnostic-quality images. Candidates must have neurosurgery/neuroscience experience. Interventional Radiology experience is preferred.
Shift Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 4 x 10-hour shifts per week.
- On-call requirement: 1–2 times per week and 1–2 weekends per month.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Current New York State license applicable to the position — required.
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience.
- Neurosurgery/neuroscience experience — required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) — required.
- Interventional Radiology experience — preferred.
- Competence in selecting appropriate exposure factors and positioning patients to produce diagnostic-quality images.
- Ability to operate X-ray equipment and computed radiography (CR) and digital radiography (DR) systems.
- Ability to administer oral contrast as needed and assist radiologists during procedures.
- Ability to commute to Brighton, NY 14620.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
