Job Summary
TPF Nursing Registry Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in the Level I Emergency Department at University of Rochester Medical Center. This fast-paced adult emergency department manages more than 100,000 visits annually and serves as a major regional trauma center, caring for a diverse patient population. The RN will provide emergency nursing care, monitor patients, collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, and assist with patients boarding in the ED.
Shift Details
- Schedule: Rotating day, evening, and night shifts (D/E/N).
- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Current New York State RN license — required.
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience.
- Previous travel Emergency Room nursing experience — required.
- Telemetry experience — required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) — required.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) — required.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification — required.
- Ability to provide care in a fast-paced adult emergency department and assist with boarding patients.
