We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist / Consultant in Allergy & Immunology to join a reputed government healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will diagnose and manage allergic, immunological, and immune-mediated conditions, delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients and improving their long-term health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage allergic and immunological disorders, including asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, eczema, and drug hypersensitivity.
- Evaluate and manage primary and secondary immunodeficiency disorders and other immune system conditions within the scope of specialty expertise.
- Perform and interpret relevant allergy investigations, including skin prick tests and other appropriate diagnostic assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management, allergen avoidance strategies, and immunotherapy where indicated.
- Identify and manage severe allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, and provide appropriate emergency care.
- Collaborate with pulmonologists, dermatologists, pediatricians, and other specialists to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and families on allergy prevention, treatment options, and long-term disease management.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with established patient safety and quality standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews, clinical audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Recognized medical degree with relevant postgraduate qualifications and specialty training in Allergy & Immunology or an appropriate related specialty.
- Relevant clinical experience at Senior Specialist or Consultant level.
- Strong expertise in diagnosing and managing allergic and immunological disorders.
- Experience interpreting allergy investigations and developing evidence-based treatment plans.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
- Candidates with UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or German Board certifications are encouraged to apply.
