  • Carry out mechanical maintenance, fitting, fabrication and repair work on plant and equipment in line with operational priorities.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches and technical specifications to support maintenance and fabrication activities.
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers regarding specialist maintenance, fabrication and repair activities.
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety, compliance and housekeeping at all times, particularly when undertaking welding, hot works and other fabrication activities.
  • Ensure engineering and fabrication activities comply with company procedures and current legislation.

  • Experience carrying out fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance on production or processing equipment, and/or fabrication and welding repairs.
  • Practical experience in fabrication, metalwork, welding and the repair or modification of metal components would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
