We are looking for a proactive and people-focused Associate / Senior Associate – HR to support and strengthen the organisation’s people function as the business continues to grow. This role combines HR business partnering, employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, and HR operations.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on HR professional who can build strong relationships with employees and managers, address people-related challenges, and help establish effective HR processes. You will play an important role in creating a positive employee experience, supporting business leaders, and developing scalable people practices in a fast-paced, multi-location operating environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with managers and employees to address day-to-day HR matters, workplace concerns, and employee relations issues.
- Build strong relationships with business teams to understand workforce requirements, team structures, employee challenges, and talent needs.
- Support managers with performance conversations, goal-setting, feedback, team dynamics, and people-related decisions.
- Identify employee-related risks and collaborate with HR leadership to develop appropriate interventions.
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, employee connects, pulse surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
- Monitor employee feedback, identify recurring concerns, and coordinate timely resolution.
- Manage key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, confirmation, internal transfers, role changes, and exits.
- Coordinate performance management cycles, including goal-setting, performance reviews, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
- Identify learning and development needs and support training programmes and manager development initiatives.
- Assist in developing, documenting, and implementing HR policies, processes, and people programmes.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR dashboards, and reports covering attrition, engagement, performance, and onboarding.
- Support HR compliance, audits, documentation, and operational activities.
- Collaborate with business leaders to improve employee experience, strengthen workplace culture, and support organisational effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR workflows and establish consistent, scalable people practices.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 2–5 years of experience in HR, preferably in an HR generalist, HR Business Partner, or People Partner role.
- Strong understanding of employee engagement, performance management, onboarding, employee relations, and HR operations.
- Experience partnering with managers and employees across different levels of an organisation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with discretion, empathy, and sound judgement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach to resolving workplace challenges.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where processes and systems are still evolving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with HR dashboards, people metrics, reporting tools, and HR information systems.
- Experience in a startup, retail, FMCG, consumer internet, logistics, or other operations-intensive environment is an advantage.
- A strong sense of ownership, adaptability, and commitment to building a positive employee experience.
