Senior PR Specialist

Job Description

The Senior PR Specialist is responsible for executing WOROOD's public relations activities, strengthening relationships with media, influencers, and public figures, and supporting the brand's image across Egypt and key regional markets.

Work Model: Hybrid

Location: New Cairo

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute PR plans for product launches, campaigns, events, collaborations, and brand announcements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, fashion editors, stylists, influencers, celebrities, and industry partners.
  • Handle daily media and influencer outreach, follow-ups, negotiations, and coordination.
  • Prepare press releases, media pitches, press kits, brand profiles, invitations, and official communications.
  • Manage influencer gifting, seeding, and paid collaborations from selection through delivery and reporting.
  • Confirm contracts, content approvals, deliverables, timelines, exclusivity, and usage rights before campaigns go live.
  • Maintain updated media, influencer, celebrity, and VIP databases.
  • Coordinate guest lists, invitations, RSVPs, seating, press attendance, and on-ground PR requirements for events.
  • Monitor media coverage, social mentions, and public sentiment toward the brand.
  • Prepare monthly and post-campaign PR reports, including coverage, reach, engagement, and campaign results.
  • Support crisis communication by monitoring concerns, gathering accurate information, and preparing approved responses.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Social Media, Content, Customer Care, Retail, and external agencies.
  • Ensure all external communication reflects WOROOD's tone of voice and luxury positioning.
  • Support regional PR activities, particularly across Egypt and KSA , US and other markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant PR experience, preferably in fashion, luxury, beauty, or lifestyle.
  • Strong relationships within the Egyptian media and influencer industry.
  • GCC media or influencer experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, networking, and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of influencer contracts, paid usage, licensing, approvals, and creator rights.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Professional presence and confidence when dealing with media, influencers, VIPs, and partners.
