Vanwege significante groei in Nederland, wil WSP BU Water de expertise van ons team Waterveiligheid in Breda, Nieuwegein of Rotterdam versterken.

Hoe ziet jouw nieuwe rol eruit?

Als junior adviseur werk je mee aan het ontwerpen en toetsen van uiteenlopende waterbouwkundige en waterveiligheidsprojecten. Je bent niet gekoppeld aan één project of opdrachtgever, maar ondersteunt bij meerdere projecten tegelijk. Denk aan trajecten zoals Sterke Lekdijk, Dijkversterking Moerdijk- Drimmelen en diverse dijkversterkingsprojecten in Limburg zoals Zuidelijk Maasdal. Deze afwisseling zorgt ervoor dat je veel leert en je snel ontwikkelt binnen het vakgebied.

Samen met ervaren adviseurs draag je bij aan inhoudelijke analyses en adviezen. Door de samenwerking met het ontwikkelplatform VIKTOR worden repetitieve (geotechnische) berekeningen grotendeels geautomatiseerd. Zo blijft er ruimte om te leren focussen op de inhoud: het begrijpen van resultaten, het stellen van de juiste vragen en het stap voor stap ontwikkelen van je adviesvaardigheden. Samen werken we aan een veilige en duurzame leefomgeving, voor iedereen.

Jouw takenpakket bestaat uit:

  • Het ondersteunen bij het analyseren en interpreteren van geotechnische berekeningen, zoals stabiliteits‑ en pipinganalyses, en het meewerken aan onderbouwde adviezen;
  • Het (mede) uitzetten, begeleiden en interpreteren van grondonderzoek, samen met senior adviseurs;
  • Het bijdragen aan adviesrapportages op basis van berekeningen en uitgevoerd grondonderzoek, waarbij je leert risico’s en aandachtspunten te herkennen en te benoemen.

Met ruim 40 collega’s verspreid in Nieuwegein, Breda en Rotterdam, adviseren wij op gebied van waterbeheer, rivierkunde, waterveiligheid en gebiedsinrichting. Een unieke combinatie in een afdeling, waardoor wij in staat zijn tot integrale oplossingen te komen. Je rapporteert aan het afdelingshoofd en krijgt de ruimte en begeleiding om door te groeien in de breedte van het vakgebied of om je juist te specialiseren.

Wat zien wij graag in jou?

Je hebt passie voor het vakgebied waterveiligheid en vindt het leuk om op projectmatige basis aan diverse integrale projecten te werken. Verder vragen we:

  • Een afgeronde wo opleiding in Civiele Techniek, Geotechniek of soortgelijk;
  • Aantoonbare affiniteit met waterveiligheid bijvoorbeeld vanuit een (afstudeer)stage;
  • Een aanpakkersmentaliteit met goede Nederlandse communicatieve vaardigheden.
