FISKARS

Sales Operations Intern

Summer 2027

Location: Middleton, WI (Hybrid)

About the Role

Step into the world of sales strategy with Fiskars! As a Sales Operations Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in Sales Operations at retailers like Walmart, Home Depot, Costco, and many more. You'll help shape the strategies behind how our iconic brands show up across national retailers while learning how a global company turns market data into the plans that drive real-world sales.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to spot opportunities and risks
  • Utilize syndicated Market Share and Point of Sale data to create persuasive sales stories to be presented in line reviews
  • Support the development of 2027 promotional strategies (the timing and design of sales, discounts, and offers) tailored to each channel and retailer
  • Help maintain retail pricing ladders to create “Good, Better, Best” product assortments to drive consumer trade-up at the retail shelf
  • Partner with our Sales teams to track key brand-building initiatives
  • Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc requests from the Sales Operations team, gaining diverse exposure to various business functions

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field (expected graduation within 12–24 months)
  • Comfortable working with data in Excel and curious about what the numbers reveal
  • Organized and capable in project management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • A collaborative teammate who communicates clearly and asks good questions
  • Detail-oriented, with pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work

Why Join Fiskars?

This internship is built to give you real industry experience with a market-leading legacy brand. Over the summer you'll:

  • Own a real analytical project and present your findings to the Sales Operations team
  • See how pricing, promotions, and shelf strategy come together to win business with major national retailers
  • Learn the tools and language of retail sales operations: pricing ladders, planograms, channel strategy
  • Work directly alongside Sales Planning, Sales, and Channel Execution teams, building a network of mentors inside a global brand

This is your chance to learn from a company with a 375-year legacy of innovation and design, on a team that values creativity, collaboration, and curiosity.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
