  • Own the development of comprehensive business cases for new business capabilities and capital projects, integrating cost estimates, schedules, phasing, escalation, financing, risk assessments, and returns from early feasibility through execution.
  • Drive alignment and clarity across internal stakeholders, executives, engineers, and commercial teams by developing, presenting, defending, and explaining financial models and business cases.
  • Develop and drive project-level strategies for major customer and deployment projects, including objectives, priorities, critical decisions, risks, dependencies, and execution pathways.
  • Lead and support analysis of complex, cross-functional business and project challenges and develop clear recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Translate strategic priorities into operating plans, decision frameworks, workstreams, and measurable actions.
  • Partner with business development, project development, engineering, operations, supply chain, finance, and other teams to align strategy with execution.
  • Develop, or support development of, business cases, scenario analyses, and financial analyses to inform strategic and project decisions.
  • Identify key project and organizational risks, constraints, and tradeoffs and help develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support the design and improvement of processes, governance, and operating models needed to execute major strategic initiatives effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement of modeling processes, tools, templates, and data architecture to improve speed, accuracy, and transparency across the organization.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to associates and analysts supporting strategic work and business case development.
  • Support departmental leadership with other activities related to the financials of current projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Profile Minimum Requirements:

  • An MBA with related experience in strategy, finance, or similar business roles, with a strong focus on business case development, and strategic planning, may be considered in lieu of some of the years of experience above.
  • Experience building and owning end-to-end financial models for major infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects, and presenting them to executive leadership.
  • Experience navigating both the technical and commercial sides of a project, partnering effectively with engineering, commercial, and finance teams.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel modeling skills, with the ability to build models from scratch, create sensitivity cases, and structure models thoughtfully.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
