Role summary
We're hiring a performance marketer with creative production experience to own the creative side of a high-volume paid media operation, ahead of a public launch on November 2026
This is not a traditional creative strategist role, and it is not a pure project management role. The priority is someone who has actually driven sales and conversions through advertising, not someone who has only developed creative concepts for a brand. You won't be editing video or designing assets yourself (a dedicated production team handles that), but you need hands-on experience in video editing or media buying to direct that team with real judgment, and you need to understand what happens after an ad launches well enough to use the results to decide what gets made next.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy
- Analyze winning ads, research competitors, and spot market trends to develop high-converting advertising concepts.
- Take a core concept and build out 20+ hooks, visual angles, and variations for rapid, systematic testing.
- Translate consumer psychology and market dynamics — particularly in collectibles and trading cards — into compelling messaging.
Post-Launch Data Analysis & Iteration
- Track performance metrics (ROAS, CPA, CTR, CVR) after campaigns go live.
- Identify what worked, dissect why it converted, and use those learnings to direct the next iteration of creative assets.
Creative Operations & Asset Production
- Build and manage the creative production roadmap to support high-volume ad deployment.
- Coordinate daily workflows for graphic designers and video editors, providing direct technical and creative feedback.
- Set production schedules, manage deadlines, and ensure final deliverables launch on time.
Strategic Thought Partner
- Own the creative pipeline end-to-end, actively challenging assumptions and bringing original ideas to leadership rather than waiting for direction.
Role Requirements
- Performance marketing background, not just creative strategy. Experience with Meta ads, DTC/ecommerce brands, or performance marketing agencies — somewhere the job was to constantly watch which ads work, what competitors are doing, and how to produce more of what performs.
- Proven impact on results. Able to explain concretely how their creative moved sales, conversions, or advertising results, and what they changed after an ad launched based on performance data — not just "developed a campaign" or "helped launch ads."
- Fluency with performance metrics: ROAS, CPA, CTR, and conversion rate.
- Hands-on origination of creative. Has personally developed ad concepts, hooks, and variations to test, not only managed people who do.
- Paid Media Expertise (Meta & Google Ads): Track record developing and testing direct-response creative across Meta Ads and Google Ads (Performance Max, YouTube Ads, Display), understanding the formats and triggers specific to each platform.
- Proven US Market Experience: History working directly with US-based clients, DTC/ecommerce brands, or performance agencies, with fluency in US consumer behavior, tone, and culture.
- Creative Operations & Project Management: Proven ability to manage designers and video editors in a high-velocity, high-volume production environment.
- Hands-on Technical Background: Prior experience in video editing or graphic design, enough to give actionable technical feedback to the creative team.
- Thought Partner Mindset: Proactive ownership — brings original ideas, challenges leadership with sound business rationale, and takes ownership of the creative pipeline.
- Fluent English: High proficiency in verbal and written English for day-to-day strategic collaboration with US leadership.
- Equipment & Setup: A personal high-performance laptop capable of smoothly reviewing video/graphic assets, plus a stable, high-speed internet connection.
Nice to have
- Personal passion or familiarity with trading cards, collectibles, or sports memorabilia.
