What You’ll Do

As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems throughout the Morris, Illinois area.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems
  • Troubleshoot furnaces, air conditioners, and other heating and cooling equipment
  • Perform preventative HVAC maintenance
  • Identify repair and replacement needs based on system condition
  • Manage service calls from diagnosis through completion with minimal supervision
  • Resolve complex HVAC issues using practical, field-based troubleshooting
  • Clearly explain system issues, repair options, and recommendations to customers
  • Perform light commercial HVAC service and repair
  • Assist with HVAC installations when needed
  • Support indoor air quality, ventilation, and related HVAC work
  • Maintain high standards for workmanship, professionalism, and customer service

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of professional, hands-on HVAC service experience required
  • 5+ years of HVAC service experience preferred
  • EPA Certification required
  • A2L certification preferred
  • Strong residential HVAC diagnostics and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience servicing and repairing furnaces and air conditioning systems
  • Preventative maintenance experience
  • Ability to independently diagnose HVAC problems and complete service calls
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in the field
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Commercial HVAC service experience is a plus, but not required
