Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end road transportation, from vehicle placement and dispatch to delivery and turnaround.
  • Drive fleet utilization, vehicle availability, TAT and on-time performance.
  • Manage transporters, fleet owners and 3PL partners across routes.
  • Track freight costs, trip economics and operational performance to identify cost improvements.
  • Resolve issues around vehicle placement, delays, breakdowns and transporter performance.
  • Maintain operating MIS and ensure capacity is aligned with business requirements.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong hands-on experience in trucking operations, fleet management, or 3PL transportation.
  • Good understanding of FTL operations, fleet utilization, route planning and transport economics.
  • Experience managing a mix of owned/attached fleets and external transporters would be valuable.
  • Prior experience in cement logistics or other high-volume industrial transportation is strongly preferred.
  • Someone comfortable being close to operations, working with transporters, and solving problems on the ground.
  • This role is based out of Nehru place, Delhi
