The posting

Do you have a knack for organizing and a passion for creating unforgettable events?

Zoku provides a home for business travelers who want to live in a city for between a few days and a few months. We’re a new type of business hotel offering a relaxed place to live, co-work and socialize while wiring residents into the local scene. Join an international team of driven, proactive and fun-loving Zokus who all have one thing in common: a passion for connecting people across the globe.

We’re also proudly B Corp certified at all four of our locations (Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Paris and Vienna), which means we hold ourselves to high standards when it comes to social and environmental impact, transparency and accountability. At Zoku, you’ll join an international team of driven, proactive and fun-loving people who all share one thing: a passion for connecting people across the globe.

TELL ME MORE

As our Community Events & Partnerships Manager, you are responsible for the community at Zoku Copenhagen. You are collaborating closely with the other community managers in Amsterdam, Vienna and Paris and will be reporting directly to the General Manager. This role is perfect for a community-driven hospitality professional who’s both strategic and hands-on: someone who can shake hands with a partner at noon, host a community dinner in the evening, and still remember it’s a resident’s birthday the next day.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

No two days look the same as a Community Events & Partnerships Manager: one moment you’re welcoming long-stay residents or connecting co-workers over coffee, the next you’re shaping a major event with a local brand partner. From managing our Co-Working community to curating strategic partnerships, you’ll create the right mix of events and experiences that make Zoku Copenhagen feel like home, and put it firmly on the local map.

Your days vary a lot as a Community Events & Partnerships Manager… but here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:

Brand Partnerships and Event Programming: Build and manage strategic partnerships while curating events with both local and global communities. You’ll coordinate with partners and our marketing team to drive awareness and help sell out our event calendar.

Copenhagen Scene Connector: You’re ahead of the curve on what’s happening in Copenhagen: spotting trends, events, and communities that matter to our audience. You turn online communities into offline connections, curating gatherings across topics from tech and design to AI (and everything in between).

Co-Working Memberships: Take care of our Co-Working community (25-30 fixed members + day passes) by managing memberships, onboarding new members, and organizing regular engagement rituals that keep the community thriving.

Long Stay Residents: Welcome and onboard residents staying 2+ weeks, making sure they feel supported, connected, and at home throughout their stay.

Meaningful Connections: Foster an inclusive, informal, and welcoming atmosphere within the Zoku Copenhagen community, ensuring everyone experiences a true sense of belonging.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

  • A market conform salary package including pension and health insurance.
  • Cool benefits like an after-work drink, access to all community events, various discounts like 40% discount on F&B for you and 4 friends, plus Employee and Friends & Family rates in all Zoku Locations.
  • A free night stay for you and your +1 in your first 3 months at your Zoku (dinner & breakfast) and a free night at any Zoku location for your birthday, including welcome drink & breakfast to experience Zoku as a true guest.
  • No boring canteen!! Staff meals enjoyed from our Living Kitchen.
  • A personal budget unlocked after 1 year at Zoku to spend on extra days off, learning & development, extra cash or discounted vouchers.
  • A fun, young, and international team to grow with. Plus, exciting training and events to celebrate every step of the journey!
  • A job at one of the 25 coolest hotels in the world, that feels like a second home and is purpose-driven.

WE LOVE PEOPLE WHO...

  • Have a connector mindset, are natural networkers and enjoy bringing people together, spotting opportunities to like residents, members and partners.
  • Bring good vibes, are friendly and approachable, making people feel at home instantly.
  • Know all the ins and outs Copenhagen, the cool partners we could work with and love going to local events, using this as your inspiration for developing new events.
  • Able to juggle event calendars, memberships, and resident interactions without losing detail.
  • Have a commercial mindset and are comfortable presenting Zoku to partners and promoting events.

A FEW MUST HAVES

  • You have a background in community building or events management and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience managing memberships or client-facing communities (e.g. coworking, social clubs, start-ups, or hospitality brands).
  • Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships, ideally with local brands or networks.
  • You have a track record of organizing small- and medium-scale events (community rituals to public events).
  • You have a good understanding of Copenhagen's local scene and stay up to date with what's happening in the city, from cultural happenings and international events to exciting new hotspots and community initiatives.
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Speaking Danish is a big plus!
  • You are an EU resident or have a working and living permit valid for Denmark including a CPR.
  • You love to work, as we need you full-time (37 hours).

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
