TELL ME MORE
As a Duty Manager, you'll act as a spider in the web, ensuring Zoku's operations are running smoothly. You'll coach, train and set our team of Sidekicks (operations team) up for success. The role of a Duty Manager is very versatile and fast-paced. You’ll support our operational team when and where needed, empowering them to be their best and to provide the true Zoku experience while keeping excellent service standards and facilities on par.
You’ll report to our General Manager and work amongst a team of enthusiastic, highly motivated Duty Managers where each individual will specialize in a specific area of service. In this case, we’re looking for someone who will serve as a rooms specialist and/or has a background in the Food & Beverage industry. In this role, you will play a key role in the pre-opening of our newest Zoku.
WHAT WILL YOU DO? No day looks the same as a Duty Manager, but here is a glimpse of what you can expect:
Be a smooth operator: Actively support our Sidekicks on the floor, jump in when needed and act as the contact person for larger resident requests.
Lead the team: Coach, guide and train the operational team, ensuring that the Zoku values are embodied on the work floor, while always having fun and ensuring excellent service.
Be a problem solver: Act quickly when issues arise and mediate tasks when no one else is available, adopting the right safety and security procedures along the way.
Become the Jack/Jane of all trades: As the main contact person with our outsourced housekeeping party, you’ll coordinate maintenance tasks, structure all rooms-related procedures, manage restaurants reservations and check the payment handling.
