The posting

Een van onze klanten in het Antwerpse staat voor een doorgedreven modernisatie van hun applicatie-architectuur. AE staat mee aan het roer van die transformatie. Vanuit een bestaande .NET-omgeving bouwen we mee aan een vernieuwd applicatielandschap waarin Domain Driven Design, duidelijke service boundaries en event-gedreven communicatie centraal staan.

Het is méér dan een technische upgrade. Het is een structurele stap richting een toekomstgerichte IT-organisatie — en jij bouwt er de kern van mee.

AI bij AE — wat dat voor jou betekent

.NET developers bij AE werken vandaag actief met AI-assistentie: Claude en GitHub Copilot voor codegeneratie, code review en documentatie zijn dagelijkse werkpartners, geen gadgets. In dit traject gaan we verder: je denkt mee na over hoe AI structureel waarde kan toevoegen in software engineering — van geautomatiseerde testgeneratie tot AI-geïntegreerde applicatiecomponenten. Dat verwachten we niet als expertise bij aanvang — wel als mindset en openheid.

Wat is je focus?

  • Je werkt fulltime mee als .NET-ontwikkelaar in een langlopend modernisatietraject: analyse, ontwerp en implementatie vormen de ruggengraat van je dagelijkse werk
  • Je levert kwalitatieve code en draagt actief bij aan code reviews, teststrategie en technische best practices
  • Je denkt mee over architecturale vraagstukken — bounded contexts, service-decompositie, integratiepatronen — en brengt je inzichten in binnen het team
  • Je werkt in een omgeving waar Domain Driven Design en event-gedreven communicatie concreet worden toegepast, en groeit daarin mee doorheen het traject
  • Je houdt oog voor cloud-native principes en containerisatie, zonder het platform zelf te beheren

Wie ben jij?

  • Minstens vijf jaar ervaring als .NET-ontwikkelaar in complexe of bedrijfskritische omgevingen
  • Diepgaande kennis van C# en ASP.NET Core; microservices en distributed system patterns voelen vertrouwd
  • Technische diepgang combineren met een praktische instelling: dicht bij de code én nadenken over hoe dingen beter kunnen
  • Comfortabel in een enterprise-omgeving waar schaalbaarheid, security en compliance dagelijkse randvoorwaarden zijn
  • Helder communiceren binnen het team, kennis graag delen
  • Vloeiend Nederlands
  • Pluspunt:
  • Ervaring met of aantoonbare interesse in Domain Driven Design en event-driven architectuur
  • Vertrouwdheid met messaging-platformen (NServiceBus, RabbitMQ of vergelijkbaar)
  • Eerste ervaring met AI-tools in een software development workflow
