Meebouwen aan onderdelen die de ruimte in gaan – hoe gaaf is dat?

Je doet het als Milling Operator bij Airborne. Hier werk je met composieten – dat zijn supersterke, lichte materialen die onmisbaar zijn voor de lucht- en ruimtevaart. Dat klinkt best ingewikkeld, maar geen zorgen. Wat je nog niet weet, leer je bij ons.

Wat ga je doen?

Als CNC / Milling Operator bij Airborne ben je werkzaam aan een (composiet) halffabricaat of eindproduct door middel van bediening van een grote 5-assige freesbank (l x b x h = 7,5 x 3 x 2m). Als ervaren CNC Operator word je geacht in overleg met de Process Engineers, maar ook zelfstandig opspanningen te kunnen maken en verspaningscondities te bepalen.

Je werkt zelfstandig aan de productie van verschillende groottes van producten en materialen zoals hoofdzakelijk carbon. Dit zijn o.a. satelliet panelen voor de ruimtevaart en accespanels voor de aerospace markt. van complexe, vaak grote mallen (tooling). Deze mallen zijn uniek, dat wil zeggen je maakt van iedere mal meestal maar één exemplaar. Het product moet dus in één keer goed zijn; er is geen instelproduct of prototype dus nauwkeurigheid en oog voor kwaliteit zijn van groot belang!

Tot jouw verantwoordelijkheden behoren:

  • Bedenken en maken van opspanningen
  • Instellen van de machine
  • (Enkelstuks) productie inclusief controle van eigen werkzaamheden
  • Produceren binnen de gestelde uren
  • Produceren binnen de gestelde planning
  • Zorg voor kwaliteit
  • Zorg voor mallen en gereedschappen algemeen
  • Dagelijks onderhoud van de machine
  • Orde en netheid
  • Aangeven van verbeteringen
  • Zorg voor veiligheid

Opleiding

  • Een afgeronde opleiding op mbo-niveau, richting werktuigbouw of vliegtuigbouw of vergelijkbare richting en niveau

Werkervaring

  • Minimaal drie jaar ervaring als CNC operator op een gelijkwaardige freesbank
  • Ervaring met het frezen van composietmaterialen is een belangrijke pre

Overige

  • Goede kennis van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift
  • Kennis van een gelijkwaardige CNC freesmachine
  • Werkinstructies kunnen lezen
  • Kennis van de operating software Siemens/FANUC van de betreffende machine, Edgecam en Windows zijn een pre
  • Werken in een 3-ploegendienst past bij jou: je bent flexibel en hebt geen bezwaar tegen nachtdiensten.
