The posting

We are looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Account Manager to join our growing team in the CFDs industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience in CFDs sales, account management, or business development to take the next step in their career, with a focus on serving and growing our Tamil-speaking client and partner base in Malaysia.

What Will You Do

  • Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for Tamil-speaking clients, Introducing Brokers (IBs), and partners in Malaysia, building long-term, trust-based relationships.
  • Portfolio Growth & Retention: Grow and retain the assigned portfolio through regular engagement, performance reviews, trading promotions, and loyalty initiatives.
  • Client & Partner Acquisition: Identify and onboard new clients, IBs, and referral partners within the Tamil-speaking community through referrals, networking, and community engagement.
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed assigned targets for revenue, active clients, deposits, and trading volume.
  • Market Insights: Monitor trends and feedback from the Tamil-speaking market, and share opportunities and product or campaign recommendations with management.
  • CRM & Reporting: Use CRM tools to manage accounts, track pipelines and client activity, and report progress to management.
  • Compliance & Onboarding: Make sure all clients and IBs are onboarded in line with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the company at seminars, webinars, community events, and partner meetings.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, dealing, support, and operations teams to deliver a seamless client and partner experience, including Tamil-language content and campaign support where needed.

What Makes You a Good Fit

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, or Sales within the CFDs/FX industry.
  • Good understanding of trading platforms such as MT4/MT5 and core FX and CFD products.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow client and IB portfolios, with a track record of retention and upselling.
  • Familiarity with partner programs, spreads, rebates, and trading promotions.
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage accounts and pipelines.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and target-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in Tamil, English, and Malay (spoken and written) is a MUST.
  • Existing network or community connections within the Tamil-speaking market in Malaysia are a strong advantage.
