The posting

Audubon is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support and lead regional project delivery across midstream, civil, and pipeline markets. This role will manage projects from proposal and planning through field execution, quality review, and final delivery.

The Senior Project Manager will coordinate with clients, internal technical teams, field crews, subcontractors, and regional leadership to deliver safe, high-quality work within scope, schedule, and budget.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience in surveying, geomatics, civil infrastructure, pipeline, or midstream work. They can manage multiple projects at once, build trusted client relationships, identify delivery risks early, and help grow regional work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects through the full project lifecycle, including scope development, estimating, planning, execution, quality review, and closeout.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, forecasts, change management, and financial performance.
  • Coordinate project teams across survey, civil, pipeline, engineering, 3D laser scanning, UAV, and other service lines as needed.
  • Work with clients to confirm objectives, scope, deliverables, schedules, access requirements, and technical standards.
  • Prepare and review proposals, work plans, budgets, schedules, progress reports, and other project documentation.
  • Coordinate field crews, office teams, subcontractors, and vendors to support efficient project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and promptly address scope changes, schedule impacts, resource needs, quality concerns, and other risks.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and project stakeholders, including regular status updates and timely escalation of issues.
  • Support safe work planning and ensure project teams understand applicable client requirements, site rules, and company procedures.
  • Oversee project quality processes and confirm deliverables meet the agreed scope, applicable standards, and client requirements.
  • Review project financials, labor performance, and billing status; work with project controls and accounting staff to address discrepancies.
  • Support regional business development by identifying client needs, strengthening existing relationships, and contributing to proposals and pursuit strategies.
  • Mentor project managers and developing staff, share effective project practices, and contribute to consistent regional delivery processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, surveying, civil engineering, construction management, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Significant project management experience in surveying, geomatics, civil infrastructure, pipeline, midstream, or related technical services.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, client communication, and financial performance.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, field operations, subcontractors, and technical deliverables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, field personnel, technical staff, and leadership.
  • Proficiency with project management and business software, including scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and document management tools.
  • Ability to travel regionally and visit project sites as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet applicable client and site access requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in one or more states, or the ability to obtain additional state licensure.
  • Experience with pipeline and midstream projects, including route or corridor work, facility projects, construction support, or integrity programs.
  • Familiarity with survey and geomatics services such as GNSS, conventional surveying, 3D laser scanning, UAV mapping, LiDAR, and CAD or GIS deliverables.
  • Experience with project estimating, contract review, proposal development, and client account management.
  • Experience using project controls or financial systems to track labor, expenses, revenue, and project performance.
  • Established relationships with regional energy, utility, civil infrastructure, or engineering clients.

Success in This Role

Success will be measured by safe and reliable project execution, strong client relationships, effective team coordination, accurate project forecasting, quality deliverables, and contribution to regional growth.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
