Verleg je grenzen als Category Manager

Als Category Manager bij Capi ben je onderdeel van het Purchase team op ons hoofdkantoor in Amsterdam. Je houdt je dagelijks bezig met de invulling en inkoop voor al onze winkels. Met meer dan 45 winkels op luchthavens in Europa, het Midden-Oosten, Azië en Afrika draag je bij aan een verrassend elektronica aanbod voor 350 miljoen reizigers. Ons winkel concept is volledig afgestemd op reizigers en het bieden van een inspirerende winkelervaring met exclusieve productlanceringen en campagnes van toonaangevende merken. Binnen de rol als Category Manager ben je van A tot Z verantwoordelijk voor je eigen productcategorie en heb je contact met internationale leveranciers, onze shopmanagers, marketing en logistiek.

Functiebeschrijving

Werken binnen de travel retail branche is dynamisch. De mindset van reizigers zorgt voor een ander koopgedrag en verschillende nationaliteiten maken deze functie bij Capi uitdagender dan bij andere retailers. Je bent op de hoogte van de laatste innovaties, stelt een passend assortiment samen voor onze doelgroep, bent verantwoordelijk voor de inkoop van producten bij leveranciers en analyseert verkoopcijfers & verkoopmarges. Samen met het marketingteam introduceer je exclusieve producten en inspirerende campagnes om te zorgen voor die verrassende winkelervaring.

Daarnaast ben je verantwoordelijk voor diverse projecten, zoals onze omnichannel strategie, het positioneren van smart innovaties en de expansie in Europa en het Midden-Oosten. Omdat wij sterk aan het groeien zijn, draag je bij aan het assortiment en de inkoop voor nieuwe winkels en ben je een belangrijke schakel in deze openingen.

Functie-eisen

Dit ben jij

  • Een afgeronde commerciële opleiding op HBO/WO-niveau;
  • 2 - 3 jaar ervaring in de positie van category management, inkoop of retail;
  • Een uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal;
  • Ondernemend, leergierig en resultaatgericht;
  • Sterke affiniteit met consumentenelektronica en markttrends;
  • Analytisch sterk en commercieel ingesteld;
  • Proactief, verantwoordelijk en teamgericht;

Aanvullende informatie

Wij bieden jou

  • Een goed salaris aansluitend bij jouw ervaring, plus een jaarlijkse vaste kerstbonus en een prestatieafhankelijke bonus;
