Vacatureomschrijving

Ben jij commercieel ingesteld, analytisch sterk en nieuwsgierig naar hoe internationale handel werkt? Dan is deze functie een mooie start van jouw commerciële carrière binnen de FMCG-wereld.

Als Commercial Assistant krijg je de kans om alles te leren over de markt waarin Topbrands opereert: van stocklots (restpartijen) en regular items tot private label en food.

Wat is een Commercial Assistant?

Als Commercial Assistant leer je hoe internationale handel, sales en accountmanagement binnen FMCG werken. Je werkt nauw samen met ervaren Accountmanagers en ondersteunt hen in dagelijkse salesactiviteiten, terwijl je tegelijkertijd zelfstandig marktonderzoek uitvoert en commerciële kansen signaleert.

Deze functie is opgezet als ontwikkelrol met als doel door te groeien naar een zelfstandige positie als Accountmanager.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Ondersteunen van Accountmanagers bij dagelijkse salesactiviteiten en klanttrajecten
  • Meegaan naar klantbezoeken om commerciële vaardigheden verder te ontwikkelen
  • Uitvoeren van marktonderzoek (online en in-store) naar prijzen, concurrentie, trends en assortimenten
  • Analyseren van marktinformatie en vertalen van inzichten naar commerciële kansen
  • Onderzoeksresultaten bespreken met Accountmanagers en Sales Manager en meedenken over de juiste aanpak
  • Signaleren van marktontwikkelingen en kansen en deze actief delen met interne stakeholders zoals Sales en Purchase
  • Ondersteunen bij het opstellen van offertes en het opvolgen van verkoopactiviteiten
  • Wekelijks analyseren van voorraden en signaleren van kansen en knelpunten samen met de Commercial Coördinator
  • Actief bijdragen aan commerciële en procesmatige verbeteringen
  • Kennis opbouwen van het Sales Manual en dit toepassen in de praktijk

Functie-eisen

Wie ben jij?

  • Je hebt hbo werk- en denkniveau
  • Je hebt een relevante opleiding afgerond, bij voorkeur in commerciële richting
  • Je hebt ongeveer 2–5 jaar ervaring opgedaan (stages tellen mee) en bent klaar voor een tweede stap.
  • Je hebt affiniteit met FMCG en interesse in handel en internationale business
  • Je beheerst de Engelse taal vloeiend; extra talen zijn een pré
  • Je bent ondernemend, proactief en commercieel ingesteld
  • Je hebt een sterk analytisch vermogen en bent nieuwsgierig naar marktontwikkelingen
  • Je communiceert makkelijk en denkt in kansen
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en gestructureerd
  • Je bent flexibel en schakelt snel in een dynamische omgeving
  • Je bent een teamplayer met een hands-on mentaliteit

Aanvullende informatie

Wat bieden wij?

  • Een uitdagende functie in een internationale FMCG-omgeving
  • Salaris is afhankelijk van kennis en ervaring met een max van € 3.200, - bruto/maand.
  • 28 vakantiedagen (bij 40 uur) + mogelijkheid tot bijkopen van 10 dagen
  • Reiskostenvergoeding + goede pensioenregeling (Topbrands betaalt 2/3)
