Wie zoeken we?

We zoeken een nieuwe medewerker met een interesse in en affiniteit met techniek. Wij hebben in ons IP (octrooi) team ruimte voor een enthousiaste teamspeler wie het aanspreekt om in een informele en open sfeer te werken. We hebben een gezellig team dat actief, heel open samenwerkt en dat willen we graag zo houden.

Wie zijn we?

Pinsent Masons is een groot internationaal advocatenkantoor met haar wortels in het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Vijf jaar geleden hebben we ons Amsterdamse kantoor geopend en sindsdien is het kantoor in Amsterdam snel gegroeid, zowel in het aantal praktijkgroepen als de omvang daarvan. Daarom zijn we drie jaar geleden ook verhuisd naar een prachtige, nieuwe en duurzame locatie naast de RAI en vlak bij de Amstel.

Wij onderscheiden ons van andere internationale advocatenkantoren door de “one team approach”: veel zaken worden gedaan door medewerkers uit verschillende landen met veel direct contact tussen medewerkers van alle senioriteitsniveaus. Deze hoge mate van internationale integratie brengt niet alleen juridische verdieping en afwisseling, maar is ook gewoon heel leuk met de mogelijkheid om ook af en toe bij één van onze andere kantoren te werken.

De sfeer bij Pinsent Masons internationaal en in Amsterdam is heel informeel en de cultuur is gericht op samenwerken. Dat uit zich niet alleen in de behandeling van de zaken maar ook in de ruimte die er is voor ondernemerschap en persoonlijke ontwikkeling.

Het IE- & Octrooiteam

Het intellectueel eigendomsrecht team van Pinsent Masons behoort tot de grootste in Europa met gerenommeerde teams in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Nederland, Duitsland en andere Europese landen en we hebben de ambitie om verder te groeien. Ons team adviseert en procedeert met betrekking tot alle aspecten van het intellectuele eigendom in een groot aantal sectoren waaronder farma, chemie, telecom en tal van andere sectoren.

Het octrooirechtteam in Nederland behandelt met name internationale zaken over de hele breedte van het octrooirecht, variërend van life sciences tot maakindustrie en van specialty chemicals tot alledaagse consumentenproducten. We procederen actief voor het UPC – en dan eigenlijk altijd in samengestelde internationale teams, maar zeker ook nog veel voor de Nederlandse rechtbanken en de Europese gerechten.

Op dit moment zijn we met een hecht team van vijf advocaten en zoeken we een medewerker die goed in ons team past.

Advocaat (3-6 jaar ervaring)

Wij zoeken een advocaat met 3-6 jaar werkervaring, die het liefst de stage heeft afgerond. Je hebt ervaring opgedaan in het octrooirecht en hebt zin om die nog verder te verdiepen. Je hebt daarnaast interesse in de commerciële aspecten van een verder groeiende praktijk en wilt graag samen met de rest van het team werken aan publicaties, verdere praktijkontwikkeling en ‘thought leadership’.

Binnen ons team in Amsterdam zijn er veel mogelijkheden voor verdere doorgroei en ontwikkeling. Soms is het hard werken, maar daar staat ook heel veel plezier, gezelligheid en flexibiliteit tegenover. Natuurlijk bieden we een uitstekend pakket aan arbeidsvoorwaarden.
