  • Act as a primary point of contact for the Financial Systems team by phone, email, portal and in person.
  • Provide first-line support across practice management, accounts payable and billing, accounts receivable, timekeeping and reporting systems, including Aderant Expert, iTimekeep, Emburse, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Smartplan, Power BI and Tableau.
  • Monitor requests assigned through Halo, respond within agreed service levels, investigate issues and resolve or escalate them through the IT service desk and second-line teams.
  • Maintain finance-system access and static data, including information supplied to third parties, while supporting joiners, changes, leavers and absences.
  • Support the maintenance of lawyer targets, rates and headcount data, and assist with trainee seat moves when required.
  • Create and maintain system and training documentation, and contribute to process improvements that automate resolutions or reduce support demand.

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you'll need to bring:

  • Experience in a customer-focused environment, with strong administration and customer service capability.
  • Experience of day-to-day administration or co-ordination within a team, with effective planning, organisation and time management skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence supporting and liaising with colleagues at all operational levels.
  • Good IT literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, together with strong numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience creating, maintaining and improving process notes, user guides or technical documentation.
  • Ideally, experience of Halo Service Desk or a similar IT service management platform, financial systems, data and reporting, or the legal sector.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
