At Pinsent Masons, your career is exceptional by design - intentionally shaped to support high performance, meaningful development and long-term progression.

What You'll Do

  • Preparing weekly data protection news updates, including MEA and APAC developments.
  • Reviewing comparison documents and tracked changes.
  • Reading aloud from emails, letters, contracts and legislation.
  • Proofreading documents and emails for accuracy and presentation.
  • Creating and formatting tables, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Organising emails and locating documents across firm systems.
  • Taking notes during calls and meetings.
  • Conducting legal research using internal and external resources, including Practical Law and the ICO website.
  • Supporting ad hoc administrative and personal tasks.
  • Attending events, with occasional travel to other offices.
  • Travelling to other Pinsent Masons offices as required.
  • Working flexibly from the office, typically two to three days a week.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong grammar and punctuation.
  • A high level of attention to detail and pride in producing accurate, well-presented work.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using digital systems and online research resources.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively, work to deadlines and adapt to frequent or last-minute changes.
  • A collaborative, responsible and empathetic approach, with the confidence to use sound initiative.
  • A degree in Law or a similar research based subject would be desirable
  • It would be advantageous, although not essential, if you also have experience in a legal role, such as working as a paralegal, and/or have completed the Legal Practice Course.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
