The posting

Als Logistics Lead krijg je bij Carlisle Construction Materials de ruimte om logistics excellence binnen Europa vorm te geven. Je brengt structuur en verbetert transport-, distributie- en warehousingprocessen en werkt aan een logistiek netwerk dat klaar is voor de toekomst.

De rol

De Logistics Lead ontwerpt, standaardiseert en optimaliseert logistieke processen voor de verschillende Europese locaties in Nederland, Duitsland, het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Roemenië. Jouw belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Processen & netwerk: standaardiseren van logistieke processen en optimaliseren van het Europese logistieke netwerk, transport en goederenstromen;
  • Warehousing & systemen: professionaliseren van warehouseprocessen, ontwikkelen van Warehouse Excellence en verbeteren van TMS/WMS, digitalisering en data;
  • Partners & performance: optimaliseren van de samenwerking met 3PL-partners en vervoerders, met focus op serviceperformance, compliance en structurele kostenbesparingen;
  • Compliance, continuïteit & toekomstbestendigheid: naleving van wet- en regelgeving, versterken van governance, risicomanagement en bedrijfscontinuïteit en het toekomstbestendig maken van prestaties.

Carlisle Construction Materials wil klanten onder andere rechtstreeks vanuit de fabrieken op de bouwplaats gaan beleveren. Een concreet project waarin jij als kartrekker vanuit jouw expertise en initiatief de nieuwe logistieke inrichting vormgeeft en zorgt dat deze daadwerkelijk wordt gerealiseerd.

Je rapporteert aan de VP Supply Chain en werkt nauw samen met Supply Chain Managers, Procurement, lokale logistieke teams en externe partners.

Jouw profiel

Je bent een aanjager die energie krijgt van een omgeving waarin nog niet alles is uitgedacht. Je ziet waar verbetering nodig is, brengt structuur aan en neemt het initiatief om plannen daadwerkelijk van de grond te krijgen. Je kunt goed zelfstandig opereren en weet tegelijkertijd verschillende stakeholders mee te nemen in verandering.

  • Een zelfsturende professional met minimaal 5 jaar ervaring met optimalisatie van distributie en warehouse processen en sterke affiniteit met data, KPI-management, systemen (WMS en TMS) en Continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma);
  • Een afgeronde hbo- of wo opleiding bijvoorbeeld richting (Technische)Bedrijfskunde of Operations & Supply Chain Management;
  • Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en de Engelse taal.

  • Een marktconform salaris tussen € 70.000 en € 90.000 per jaar, afhankelijk van kennis en ervaring;
  • 30 vakantiedagen en een prestatiegerichte bonusregeling van max. 7,5%.

Standplaats is Kampen. Vanwege de Europese scope reis je gemiddeld één keer per maand, bijvoorbeeld naar Duitsland.
