Checkmk ist eine führende IT-Monitoring-Lösung, die weltweit von IT Professionals genutzt wird. Unser Team Growth & Commercialization entscheidet, wo wir in vertriebsgetriebenes und produktgetriebenes Wachstum investieren, und diese Entscheidungen sollen auf Daten beruhen.

Die Daten, die wir brauchen, liegen in verschiedenen Systemen und sind oft unvollständig. Du hilfst uns, sie zu finden, zu verknüpfen und daraus belastbare Antworten zu machen. Den Großteil deiner Zeit verbringst du mit Growth-Analysen, den Rest unterstützt du das Product Marketing bei Wettbewerbs- und Pricing-Themen. Berufserfahrung setzen wir nicht voraus.

Deine Aufgaben Growth Analytics

  • Du verknüpfst Produktnutzungs-, Kunden-, Vertriebs- und Marketingdaten, um konkrete Fragen zu beantworten: Warum gewinnen und verlieren wir Deals, welche Kunden sind bereit für eine Erweiterung, wo bleiben Nutzer der kostenlosen Edition hängen, und was bewegt sie zum Wechsel in eine kostenpflichtige Edition?
  • Du findest verwertbare Daten, auch wenn es keinen sauberen Datensatz gibt, im Unternehmen und in öffentlichen Quellen.
  • Du hilfst festzulegen, welche Produktnutzungsdaten wir erheben und wie.
  • Du baust wiederkehrende Reports, die das Team ohne dich nutzen kann, und dokumentierst Quellen, Definitionen und bekannte Lücken.

Product Marketing

  • Wettbewerbsanalyse: Du verfolgst Preise, Packaging und Positionierung von Wettbewerbern wie Datadog, Dynatrace und Nagios.
  • Pricing-Analyse: Du vergleichst Preispunkte, modellierst Szenarien und wertest Deal-Daten aus.
  • Marktanalyse: Trends und Marktgröße in IT-Monitoring und Observability.

Dein Profil

  • Du bist an einer Hochschule eingeschrieben (BWL, VWL, Informatik, Ingenieurwesen, Statistik oder vergleichbar) und für 20 Stunden pro Woche verfügbar, idealerweise für mindestens 12 Monate.
  • Du bist sicher in Excel oder Google Sheets. SQL, Python oder R sind ein Plus. Falls nicht, bist du bereit, sie zu lernen.
  • Du bist einfallsreich: Wenn die Daten, die du brauchst, nicht existieren, findest du einen anderen Weg, sie zu bekommen.
  • Du prüfst Daten, bevor du Schlüsse ziehst, und sagst, wie sicher du dir bei einem Ergebnis bist.
  • Du erklärst Ergebnisse verständlich, schriftlich und in kurzen Präsentationen.
  • Du interessierst dich für B2B-Software. Du brauchst keinen IT-Hintergrund, willst aber verstehen, wie unsere Nutzer mit dem Produkt arbeiten und wie Kunden kaufen.
