Als Senior Cloud Platform Engineer implementeer je complexe Azure-platformen en los je technische uitdagingen op waar anderen vastlopen. Je bouwt en optimaliseert landing zones, lost networking en security vraagstukken op, en troubleshoot complexe issues in productieomgevingen. Je werkt met klanten zoals NS of Schiphol aan hun meest uitdagende Azure-projecten. Je mentor junior en medior engineers, reviewt infrastructure-as-code, en deelt je kennis actief binnen het team. Je pakt zowel strategische implementaties als operationele escalaties op, en je weet wanneer je hands-on moet zijn en wanneer je anderen moet begeleiden.

Jouw vaardigheden: (← dit niet weghalen!)

Je hebt passie voor cloudtechnologie en werkt graag in een dynamische omgeving. Daarnaast:

  • Minimaal 5 jaar hands-on ervaring met Microsoft Azure in enterprise omgevingen
  • Praktische ervaring met AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) voor automation en scripting
  • Diepgaande kennis van Azure networking (VNET, NSG, Application Gateway, ExpressRoute, Private Link)
  • Expert-level kennis van Entra ID, RBAC en identity architectuur
  • Ervaring met troubleshooting en performanceoptimalisatie in productie
  • Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep) en GitOps workflows
  • Scripting vaardigheden in PowerShell, Python of Bash voor automation en tooling
  • AZ-305 certificering of bereid deze op korte termijn te behalen
  • Ervaring met mentoring en kennisoverdracht aan junior/medior engineers
  • Mondelinge en schriftelijke beheersing van het Nederlands
