Vessel Type: Offshore Drilling Vessel / Rig

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Driller to oversee and operate drilling equipment during offshore drilling operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and controlled drilling activities while supervising the drilling crew and maintaining compliance with offshore safety standards and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor drilling equipment and systems during drilling operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the drilling crew on the drill floor.
  • Ensure drilling operations are conducted safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
  • Monitor drilling parameters and identify potential operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate drilling reports, operational logs, and equipment records.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and coordinate routine maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Respond promptly to operational challenges and emergency situations.
  • Communicate effectively with the Toolpusher, drilling team, and other departments.

Requirements

  • Relevant drilling qualifications and certifications.
  • Proven experience as a Driller in offshore drilling operations.
  • Strong knowledge of drilling equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Experience supervising drilling crews and managing drill floor activities.
  • Good troubleshooting, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Valid offshore safety certifications as required for the position.
  • Ability to work effectively in a demanding offshore environment.
