We are looking for a skilled and proactive FMS Engineer – IT Support to manage day-to-day IT operations and deliver reliable technical support at the Alkyl Amines Chemicals Limited - (Dahej). The ideal candidate should be capable of handling end-user issues efficiently while ensuring system uptime and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide L1 technical support for desktops, laptops, and IT peripherals
  • Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, and network-related issues
  • Install and configure Windows OS, MS Office, and standard applications
  • Manage and troubleshoot printers and hardware devices
  • Perform Active Directory user creation, modification, and access management
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
  • Deliver on-site and remote support to users

Must Have

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT support / FMS role
  • Strong knowledge of: - Windows OS installation & troubleshooting, - Basic networking (LAN, IP, DHCP, Wi-Fi), - Hardware troubleshooting (desktop/laptop/printer)
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory
  • Good communication and user-handling skills
  • Basic understanding of ticketing systems / ITSM tools

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Outlook configuration
  • Basic understanding of network devices (switches, routers)
  • Familiarity with IT documentation & asset management tools
  • Certifications like CompTIA A+, N+, or Microsoft certifications
  • Experience in corporate or managed service environments
