The posting

We are looking for a skilled and motivated L1 FMS Engineer to provide onsite IT support at ADAMA Agricultural Solutions, Dahej location. The candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day IT infrastructure support, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations for end users.

The role involves troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and basic network connectivity, installing and configuring operating systems and applications, and providing prompt support through proper ticket management. The engineer will work closely with users to resolve technical problems efficiently and maintain high service standards.

This position is ideal for candidates with strong technical knowledge in hardware, networking, and end-user support who are looking to grow their career in IT infrastructure and facility management services.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot basic network issues (LAN/WAN, IP configuration, connectivity)
  • Diagnose and resolve desktop/laptop hardware & software issues
  • Install and configure Operating Systems, MS Office & other applications
  • Install, configure & troubleshoot printers and peripherals
  • Master demos of our software

Must Have

  • Diploma or Degree in Hardware & Networking, IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Desktop Support / FMS / IT Support role
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP, LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP
  • Ability to work independently in onsite support environment
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and end-user computing

Nice to have

  • Perform routine system health checks and preventive maintenance
  • Handle user account support, password resets, and access-related issues
  • Ensure proper asset handling and maintain IT inventory records
  • Coordinate with higher-level support teams (L2/L3) for issue escalation when required
