The posting

We are looking for a Presales ELV Engineer to understand customer requirements and develop suitable ELV solutions, BOQs, and technical proposals.

The role involves CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Networking, and Structured Cabling, along with customer and sales-team coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer requirements and conduct site surveys.
  • Prepare ELV solution designs, BOQ/BOM and technical quotations.
  • Design solutions for CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA/VA, Networking and Structured Cabling.
  • Select suitable products, models and system architecture.
  • Prepare technical proposals, compliance sheets and presentations.
  • Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for technical support and pricing.
  • ttend customer meetings and provide technical presentations.
  • Support the sales team during tenders, pre-bid meetings and negotiations.
  • Review tender specifications and ensure technical compliance.
  • Coordinate with the project team for technical handover after order confirmation.

Must Have

  • Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, IT or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in ELV Presales.
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV and Access Control systems.
  • Good knowledge of IP networking, LAN, PoE, switches, NVR/DVR.
  • Hands-on experience in BOQ/BOM and technical proposal preparation.
  • Ability to understand drawings and technical specifications.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, presentation and customer-handling skills.
  • Willingness to travel for site surveys and customer meetings.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AutoCAD/ELV drawings and technical solution design.
  • Knowledge of OEM products, tender documentation, and ELV industry standards.
