The posting

We are looking for a motivated L1 FMS Engineer to provide first-level IT support at the client location. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting end users, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

The ideal candidate should have basic technical knowledge in computer hardware, networking, and peripheral devices, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

This position is both creative and rigorous by nature you need to think outside the box. We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a "get it done" spirit. To be successful, you will have solid solving problem skills.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware issues
  • Install and configure operating systems and drivers
  • Provide basic hardware repair and replacement
  • Configure and troubleshoot printers and scanners
  • Provide onsite support to end users
  • Resolve IT service tickets within defined SLA
  • Perform system health checks and maintenance

Must Have

  • Diploma in Hardware & Networking
  • Diploma in Information Technology (IT)
  • ITI – IT / ICTSM
  • Experience - 6 Months – 1 Year

Nice to have

  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware troubleshooting
  • Basic LAN / network troubleshooting
  • Printer installation and configuration
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems
  • Good communication and customer handling skills
  • Ability to provide onsite technical support
