The posting

Zur Unterstützung unseres Teams „Infrastructure Public“ suchen wir ab sofort einen erfahrenen System Engineer (all genders) – SAN / Storage am Standort Ingelheim am Rhein / Rhein-Main Gebiet

Aufgaben

  • Betreuung spannender Projekte bei öffentlichen Auftraggebern
  • Erhebung und Analyse technischer Kundenanforderungen in bestehenden oder neuen Umgebungen
  • Installation, Integration und Migration von größeren IT-Infrastruktur-Systemen auf Basis der Kundenanforderungen
  • Ausbau, Optimierung und Weiterentwicklung der kundenseitig vorliegenden Storage-Lösungen
  • Sicherung des reibungslosen Betriebs inkl. Troubleshooting und Fehleranalyse sowie Backup und Recovery

Skills

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der (Wirtschafts-) Informatik oder eine Ausbildung in einer IT-nahen Fachrichtung
  • Erfahrung in der Planung und Umsetzung von Projekten im SAN- und Storage-Umfeld
  • Fundiertes Wissen in der Administration von Enterprise Storage-Clustern und SAN-Umgebungen
  • Idealerweise Berufserfahrung mit Systemen der Hersteller Brocade, FalconStor oder Huawei
  • Bereitschaft zu Tätigkeiten im Rechenzentrum
  • Bereitschaft zur Teilnahme an Rufbereitschaften (1 Woche mit 24x7 Bereitschaft)
  • Bereitschaft zur Durchführung einer Sicherheitsüberprüfung Stufe 2
