About DataMap

DataMap.ai is an AI-first technology consulting and solutions company focused on enterprise systems and automation. We build applications, implement ERP platforms, and provide managed services and production support at scale. Our clients include Fortune 500 enterprises and high-growth companies such as Google. They rely on us to modernize operations and automate workflows in ways that produce measurable business value.

DataMap is growing fast. We value innovation and collaboration, we work with urgency, and we reward speed, precision, and accountability. Teams here have the authority to solve complex enterprise problems and deliver results.

Summary

Ready to lead DataMap's change management practice?

Every platform DataMap implements and every product we build changes how people work, and the change pays off only when they adopt it. As the Director of Change Management, you lead the practice that owns the people side of everything DataMap runs: rollouts of the partner platforms we implement (Coupa, D365, NetSuite, SAP, and Boomi), adoption of our own products (Positron, RoboApprover, Itemova EDI SaaS), and change inside DataMap as the firm grows. You are accountable for adoption across the portfolio and for the methodology, governance, and measurement the practice runs on, and you set the practice's direction with DataMap's executive leadership. This role is in person at DataMap's office in Overland Park, Kansas, and is not remote.

Change management is a career path at DataMap, from Change Manager to Senior Change Manager to Director of Change Management. Beyond the Director level, the path continues into executive leadership, such as DataMap's Vice President, Operations & Delivery. We promote from within, and moving up depends on performance and on the needs of the business.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Practice leadership and methodology

  • Build and maintain DataMap's change methodology as one playbook, with a standard toolkit every change manager uses: stakeholder maps that sort each group into Allies, Opponents, Neutrals, and Adversaries, impact and readiness assessments, WIIFM messaging, communication and feedback plans, and RACI matrices.
  • Make training and third-party change part of the methodology and offerings: one approach to training needs analysis, curriculum, train-the-trainer programs, and proficiency measurement, plus playbooks for onboarding suppliers and customers and for working with other implementation service providers on shared programs.
  • Set change governance (readiness criteria, adoption gates, and post-go-live sustainment checks) and the practice's measurement standard for adoption, proficiency, third-party enablement, and business results.
  • Lead the AI transformation of the change practice with the executive team, covering tool selection, methodology changes, and ROI measurement.

Executive and stakeholder engagement

  • Represent the people side on executive steering committees, advise C-level sponsors, and be the escalation point for adoption risk and resistance across the portfolio, bringing executive leadership in when needed.
  • Drive change inside DataMap as the firm scales, in process, structure, visibility, communications, and change management, using the same playbook the practice runs for clients.
  • Present DataMap's AI-first approach to change in client executive briefings and industry content, working with Sales.

Team and practice growth

  • Build the change management team: hiring, the career path, certification paths, standards, and culture.
  • Develop the practice's next generation of change leaders, and coach them to engage their champion networks often, ask what they're seeing, and correct course early.
  • Grow change, training, and adoption work across DataMap's accounts, and contribute to the pricing and packaging of change, training, supplier and customer enablement, and adoption services.

Education and Experience

  • At least 10 years of experience in change management or transformation, including building, leading, and developing teams of change managers.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience building a change methodology, governance, and measurement approach that others run, and a track record of organization-level change that held after launch.
  • Experience leading training at scale and change that reaches beyond the organization to suppliers, customers, and other implementation service providers.
  • Executive presence, with experience advising C-level sponsors, sitting on steering committees, and leading leaders outside your reporting line.
  • Commercial experience growing change and adoption work, including input to pricing and packaging.
  • A track record of bringing AI into a change practice or delivery organization and measuring the return.
  • Ability to work in person at DataMap's office in Overland Park, Kansas. This role is not remote.
  • Knowledge of established change models, especially Lewin's change model and Kotter's 8 steps, as well as Prosci's ADKAR model, the Bridges Transition Model, the McKinsey 7-S Framework, or force field analysis, is a plus. Prosci or CCMP certification is a strong plus.
  • Consulting or professional services experience, and change leadership on SaaS or ERP transformations (such as Coupa, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365), are a plus.

Benefits & Perks

  • Total compensation of base salary plus bonus.
  • Unlimited vacation and a flexible work environment.
  • Free catered lunch on Fridays at headquarters.
  • On-site gym at headquarters.
  • 401(k) with employer match.
  • Health insurance with generous employer contribution.
  • Dental, life, and disability insurance.
  • Hands-on mentorship and career development opportunities.

If you're experienced and have strong change leadership instincts, apply even if you don't meet every requirement.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
