Delaware North Sportservice is hiring part-time Warehouse Porter to join our team at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. As a Warehouse Porter you will deliver food, beverage, and other products throughout the venue in an efficient and timely manner.

Unit Description

Delaware North manages food and beverage services at Climate Pledge Arena, home of the NHL’s Seattle Kraken, WNBA’s Seattle Storm, and premier live music and entertainment. The 740,000-square-foot, renewable energy-powered building is the first net zero-certified arena in the world! Delaware North’s Climate Collective offers the most locally focused, sustainable menu in the sports and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

  • Performs transfers or products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse
  • Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise
  • Responsible for operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Perform physical inventory as needed
  • Processes requests for supplies, prepares merchandise for delivery, and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures
  • Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including morning/day shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred but not requiredMust be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic math and counting skills required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 165 pounds
  • Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout the facility
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching during the entire length of the shift
  • Exposure to varying outdoor temperatures depending on the season
