What you'll do The Sales Strategy & Operations Manager supports the sales organization, driving revenue growth and operational efficiency. They are a trusted advisor for senior sales leaders, focusing on improving productivity, analyzing performance metrics, managing key strategic initiatives, and leading annual planning. The role blends analytical insight, business acumen, and strong cross-functional partnership with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and HR. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales Strategy and Operations. Responsibility Support sales leaders in driving revenue growth and improved efficiency across the region or business segment Analyze performance metrics and conduct root cause analysis from demand generation to post-sales support Drive efficient, repeatable sales and field processes, and improve adoption of key systems such as Salesforce (SFDC) Identify enablement gaps within sales teams and ensure delivery of appropriate training Manage cross-functional programs, informing strategy via structured problem solving, processes definition and reporting Build infrastructure to enhance visibility and drive accountability into sales and management activities Support organizational design and growth needs, including headcount tracking, quota allocations, job descriptions, and organization charts Assist in annual strategic planning and the recurring business review cadence (quarterly/monthly) Collaborate with supporting functions (Finance, Business Development, Marketing, etc.) for effective regional or business unit support Serve as the "go-to" person for business, program, and sales execution issues, managing escalation before reaching sales leaders Gather and synthesize relevant data, deliver analytical insights, and develop recommendations for sales leadership and broader strategy teams Lead and support critical operational and strategic projects aimed at increasing sales productivity and operational excellence Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic 8+ years of experience in sales strategy, consulting, investment banking, or related strategy and operations fields Preferred Experience in B2B sales (especially SaaS) Experience with tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, Salesforce CRM Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to analyze large datasets and translate data into actionable insights Effective verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, make effective decisions with incomplete information, and manage complex projects Proven diplomacy, integrity, negotiation skills, and bias for action with a results-driven mindset Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $146,400.00 - $235,375.00 base salary This role is also eligible for the following: Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance. Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
